HOME-MADE PIZZA'S
Makes 4/5 x 30cm pizza bases

15g sachet dried yeast
3/4 teaspoon of salt
1 1/2 tablespoon of honey
250ml luke warm water
1-2 tablespoons of olive oil
500g Pizza Flour

Combine yeast, salt, honey, water & oil in a bowl and whisk to combine.
Cover & set aside for 10 minutes or until bubbles start to appear on the surface.

Sift the flour & then in a large bowl, combine flour with the liquid mixture & mix with your hands in the bowl.

Place the dough in a food processor or kitchen aid with a dough hook for 5-10 minutes. If neither available, turn the dough out onto a lighty floured bench and knead with your hands for approx. 10 mins or until comes together.

Form dough in to a bowl & place in a oiled bowl. Cover the bowl with a damp tea towel or cling film for 1 hour. The dough will double in size.

Place your pizza stone in your oven and pre-heat oven to 220C.

Punch the centre of the dough to let the air out. Knead lightly and divide in 4-5 equal balls.
Roll out each ball on a lightly floured sheet of baking paper & roll out to make a round base (30cm). Add your desired pizza toppings. Place on the pre-heated pizza stone and cook for 10-15 minutes.

Tip- leave your pizza stone in the oven until completely cooled after use, to prevent cracking.
